Flyer2.JPG

Conference at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, January 25-27, 2019.

The conference focusses on the making of meaning in and through space and the possible (co-)location of meaning in different sign systems throughout history. Participants will cover topics from the perspective of and using the methods of various disciplines, such as Archaeology, Egyptology, Linguistics, Semiotics, and Social Studies.

Student participants are especially welcome to attend regardless of their respective field of studies. At the end of each day, we will organize small discussion groups to give students the opportunity to talk about the subject in depth with the speakers.

For registration please contact the organizers: Dora Ehrensperger, Kristina Hülk, Tilmann Kunze, Aleksandra Lapčić, Andrea Magliocchi & Lisa Seelau (at colocationofmeaning@gmail.com)
